At BP Diary, your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal health data.

1. Data Collection & Local Storage

BP Diary is designed with a privacy-first approach. All your personal health records—including systolic and diastolic blood pressure readings, pulse rates, timestamps, and custom notes—are stored locally on your device.

We do not operate external backend servers to store or transmit your personal health records. Your health data remains strictly in your control on your physical device.

2. Third-Party Health Integrations (Health Connect & Apple Health)

You may optionally choose to sync your readings with Google Health Connect (Android) or Apple Health (iOS). If you grant permission, BP Diary reads and writes blood pressure and heart rate records to these respective frameworks.

Data synced with Health Connect or Apple Health is governed by Google's and Apple's respective privacy standards and is not transferred to our servers.

3. Data Retention Policy

Because your data is stored locally on your device rather than on our servers, your health records are retained on your device for as long as the application remains installed, or until you choose to delete them.

4. Data Deletion & User Rights

You have full ownership and control over your data, including the right to delete your records at any time:

• In-App Log Deletion: You can delete individual blood pressure entries directly within the app's history / log list.
• Complete Data Purge: You can delete all locally stored records and app settings at any time by navigating to your device settings (Settings > Apps > BP Diary > Storage > Clear Storage / Clear Data) or by uninstalling the BP Diary app from your device.
• Revoking Health Sync: You can revoke Health Connect or Apple Health access and manage or delete synced records directly within your device's Health Connect or Apple Health settings.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or transfer your personal health data to any third parties or advertisers.

6. Medical Disclaimer

BP Diary is designed strictly for informational and tracking purposes. BP Diary is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnoses, treatments, cures, or prevention of any disease. Always consult a certified healthcare professional before making health-related decisions.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
